Ashley Jensen loves sweetness, silliness of Agatha Raisin

Fans of the Agatha Raisin tales have been reading about her adventures written by Marion Chesney (released under the pseudonym of M. C. Beaton) since 1992. The transformation of the beloved character into an eight-part British TV series and now three new movies to be broadcast on the Acorn TV streaming service required an actress who could handle the sleuthing skills of a Jessica Fletcher (of "Murder, She Wrote") and the slapstick comedy of Lucille Ball.
